Western Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation, a Skilled Nursing Home in Temple, TX

In late July 2024, I suffered a stroke that put me in the hospital for nine days and then I was admitted to Western Hills for Rehab. My injury was severe enough to require help 24/7 and at my age of 87, I made the choice to spend the rest of my days at Western Hills. I have been extremely pleased with the excellence of the Western Hills staff, particularly the highly qualified nurses who tend to my medical needs in a timely manner. I have been very impressed with the administration and all their work behind the scenes .Our rooms are cleaned on a daily basis, our laundry is cleaned on site at no cost, and we stay clean by being given showers and a change of linen three times a week. I can definitely recommend Western Hills to give the disabled elderly a highly skilled staff and excellent services to take care of their many needs.

While my husband was in rehab at Western Hills, I had the privilege of meeting a lot of nice people. All staff remembered my name and available to answer my questions– friendly, patient, and quick to meet patient’s needs. Rooms are nice and rehab was thorough, which got my husband back on his feet.

I have worked in long -term care for more than 15 years, including at this facility; the staff and administration truly care about the residents and their families.

I have been very pleased with the entire staff at Western Hills Nursing and Rehab. Each one is very caring and shows concern to the residents.

Western Hills has a caring staff that treats my mother with respect. She is checked on often and the staff keep me informed. They also have good activities for the residents. I am very pleased with Western Hills and my mother is happy there. The nurses, aides, social worker, administrator and receptionist are all wonderful.

Caraday is one of the best places I’ve worked at. When you walk through the door you feel comfortable at at home. We are like one big family.

I have a wonderful friend and family member that is here in the nursing facility. The visitations are very, very good. The staff provides for all of his needs in such a loving way and he is very comfortable and content. For me, all the staff here are like angels. Their daily work comes from their hearts. This is very visible from all that come here to visit.
