Mesquite promotes teamwork, integrity, and dedication among team members to help provide the highest quality of life for residents.

■ Becky, CNA 30 years
■ Twila, CNA 29 years
■ Valorie, CNA 28 years
■ Fatmata, LVN 25 years
■ Aleyama, CNA 22 years
The strength of Caraday of Mesquite lies in its exceptional team members, who foster a welcoming community where residents feel truly at home. Bolstering the team is the dedication and longevity of its employees—including six team members who have been with the community for more than two decades.
This longevity is a rarity in the nursing home field, where the national average is a mere eighteen months.
“The team members are very knowledgeable and approachable,” said a Mesquite resident’s family member. “They are extremely hard-working, and the care is excellent. Everyone is uplifting and friendly.”
The fact that several employees have been with Mesquite for more than 20 years speaks volumes about the positive and high caliber community they’ve helped create.
According to Caraday of Mesquite administrator, Asia Howard, the community “promotes a family-like environment that encourages team members to support each other and commit to resident-centered care.”
“And promoting staff teamwork, integrity, and long-term dedication enhances our community and our commitment to providing the highest quality of life for residents,” she added.
“I feel so lucky to work at Mesquite, where residents come first,” said Valsamma, CNA of 21 years. “I wouldn’t have stayed this long if they didn’t!”
Caraday of Mesquite provides short-term rehabilitation programs for patients who quickly need to recover after hospitalization, as well
as long-term care for those who need additional support. There are a full range of therapy services, including physical, occupational,
and speech.
