Our vision, in everything we do, is to convey a shared value of compassion, a commitment to excellence, open communications, motivation to be the best, and a sense of personal integrity.
We are honored to care for our residents and share a passion to make their days enriching and fulfilling. It’s The Caraday Way!
Behind the compassionate and expert care provided at every Caraday community is a team that makes it happen. Whether team members provide direct patient care or ensure that outdoor spaces are inviting, every team member contributes to the resident’s experience at Caraday – it’s The Caraday Way!
Celebrating Team Member Appreciation Month, let’s meet the team:
The Admissions Coordinator may be the first person a resident meets – the person who coordinates moving into Caraday.
The Administrator oversees operations throughout the community and is available to address any concerns residents or families may have.
The Director of Nursing is responsible for overseeing clinical operations and all nursing services throughout the community and is a resource for any concerns related to care.
The Assistant Director of Nursing supervises the nursing team, including charge nurses and nursing aides.
The Chief Medical Officer is a distinction for Caraday as one of the only long-term post-acute care systems led by a Chief Medical Officer who is a nationally recognized geriatrician.
An Attending Physician directs resident care and works with the entire care team.
A Nurse Practitioner works with the attending physician on the resident’s care plan.
Charge Nurses give direction and supervision to nursing assistants (medication aides, nursing assistants) and address resident health care needs. The charge nurse has the most contact with the attending physician and can best answer questions about day-to-day medical care.
The Director of Rehabilitation/Therapy Staff helps achieve therapy goals for residents. In-house therapy includes physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Certified Medication Aides assist nurses in providing routine medications to residents.
Nursing Assistants (CNAs) have the important job of providing any assistance residents may need throughout the day and night.
Life Enrichment/Activities Staff meet with each resident shortly after admission to help select programs and activities to make their stay more enjoyable and fulfilling.
Social Services Director/Social Workers are responsible for discharge planning, referrals to community resources, and other specialists.
Cooks, Dieticians, Dietary Aides, and Food Services Supervisors help plan an appropriate diet following the doctor’s instructions and discuss resident food likes and dislikes.
Facilities, Maintenance, Housekeeping, and Laundry are all committed to making sure each community is taken care of just like home.
Leadership is responsible for the management of Caraday, overseeing a full range of business functions such as administrative support, human resources, finance, reimbursement, revenue cycle, marketing and sales, and information technology.
The Caraday team is second to none…and committed to helping residents thrive and live their best life.
